Collonges, the only French-speaking Adventist educational institution in Europe, celebrated its 100-year anniversary in 2020 and needed a rebrand and communication revamp. While Atomic Mango handled the identity system, we focused on key design and communication assets:
1. 100-Year Anniversary Book Design
• Designed a bilingual (French & English) book written by the school’s director, Jean-Philippe, to capture memories and stories of Collonges’ history and community.
• Software used: Illustrator, InDesign
2. I-FLE Promotional Video (Encouraging foreign students to apply post-pandemic)
• Crafted an inspirational script with the theme “Meet the world in one place”, based on my own experience of travel and multilingualism.
• Selected and edited video clips to showcase student experiences, with carefully chosen music to enhance the emotional impact.
The 100-year anniversary book was met with enthusiasm from alumni, staff, and students, becoming a cherished keepsake that beautifully captured Collonges’ legacy. Its bilingual format ensured accessibility for the school’s diverse, international community.
The I-FLE promotional video resonated deeply, with the school’s team praising its emotional impact and inclusive storytelling. It successfully conveyed the essence of Collonges as a place of belonging, helping to reignite interest from prospective students.
After writing the script, the biggest challenge was finding stock footage that truly conveyed the story—one of a world made accessible through language and community. Stock videos often feel redundant, and genuine diversity—in all its forms—can be hard to come by. To overcome this, we leaned into metaphorical storytelling, using carefully selected visuals to evoke the deeper meaning of belonging and cultural connection.
